Transcription of Police Interviews
Transcribe It receives regular requests by UK councils’ who require a transcription of police gathered material, including ABEs [achieving best evidence interviews] and body worn video, usually of a very sensitive nature.
The Need
A People’s Services Directorate of a UK borough council approached Transcribe It to transcribe a number of video recordings of arrests from body worn video and some achieving best evidence interviews with children.
These were complex recordings due to the nature of the arrests and situations captured on body worn video, and subsequent interviews with young children.
